Pay Range: $65, 000 - $72, 800 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all payroll and HR-related activities, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Manage the certified payroll process, ensuring adherence to industry standards
• Process regular payroll activities in a timely and efficient manner
• Provide assistance in accounts payable and billing tasks as required
• Administer company benefits including retirement plans and health insurance
• Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and training
• Maintain and manage employee documentation and lien releases
• Utilize company software for payroll processing and ensure data accuracy
• Handle occasional onboarding and offboarding processes
• Collaborate with the controller for continuous improvement in payroll and HR processes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in certified payroll management
• Familiarity with prevailing wage and related payroll practices
• Proficiency in common payroll and office software such as Excel, Sage, Microsoft Office Suite, and Foundations software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial matters
• Experience in a construction or similar industry setting is beneficial
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are a plus, but not required
• Ability and desire to learn HR tasks is preferred
