Your Role:

As the CEO, you will oversee the complete operation of the organization, working under the guidance of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. You will establish and implement the corporate vision, overseeing program development, financial performance, legal compliance, and long-range planning. You will lead an Advisory Board to meet client needs through high-quality programs and external alliances, promoting the organization’s visibility in the community. You must be a relationship-oriented leader who communicates effectively with stakeholders and maximizes the organization’s impact. You will also inspire support for the organization by sharing its compelling story and ensuring organizational excellence. A broad experience in leadership, fund development, and community engagement is essential for your success.

To thrive, you should have:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of executive-level experience in a comparable role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (Advanced Degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the Social Service and/or Foster Care industry.
  • Proven leadership in nonprofit organizations, including board relations, financial management, and fund development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing organizations through growth and restructuring.


Your responsibilities as the Chief Executive Officer will include the following:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic programs to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive solutions by identifying opportunities and challenges within the community and organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including legislators and the community.
  • Lead and manage the organization’s fiscal resources, including budget preparation and financial oversight.
  • Develop and mentor staff, ensuring professional growth, clear responsibilities, and high morale.

  • Represent the organization as an articulate and credible public presence, advocating for the organization’s mission.
