Job Summary:

The Chief of Staff is a senior-level role that supports the senior leaders in executing the company's vision, strategy, and goals. The Chief of Staff acts as a liaison between senior leadership and the internal and external stakeholders, manages cross-functional projects and initiatives, oversees the financial and operational performance of the company, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and policies. You will also assist leadership in preparing for and facilitating meetings, presentations, and communications. The ideal candidate for this role has strong project management, communication, software navigation, and intuition skills, as well as a proven track record of providing clarity, taking action, paying attention to detail and collaborating with diverse teams. As Chief of staff you will serve on the executive team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives that align with the company's vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Monitor and report on the financial and operational performance of the company and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies and manage risk and issues escalation.
  • Act as a liaison between senior leadership and the internal and external stakeholders and build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Take a strategic approach in preparing for and facilitating meetings, presentations, and communications, and ensure follow-up and that action items are completed.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking on industry trends, best practices, and opportunities.
  • Supports senior leadership in developing and executing the company culture.
Education and/or Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic or operational senior-level role supporting C-level executives in a SaaS or technology company is ideal
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; master's degree or MBA preferred. Project Management training/certificate a plus
  • Experience in managing and coordinating cross-functional projects and initiatives, and delivering results within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Experience in monitoring and reporting on the financial and operational performance of a company, and providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and managing risk and issues escalation
  • Experience in acting as a liaison between senior leadership and the internal and external stakeholders, and building and maintaining positive relationships
  • Experience preparing for and facilitating meetings, presentations, and communications, and ensuring follow-up and action items are completed

  • Providing clarity: Ability to articulate the company's vision, strategy, and goals, and to align the projects and initiatives with them
  • Affinity toward action: Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and execute tasks with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Detail-oriented: Ability to pay attention to detail and ensure the accuracy and quality of the deliverables
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with diverse teams and stakeholders, and to leverage their strengths and perspectives
