CLEAN ROOM ASSOCIATE DESKTOP TECHNICIANS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work compressed schedule OVERNIGHT shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
  • Continually monitoring service desk tickets and ensuring tickets are worked in timely fashion
  • Document new processes and new fixes and share with team
  • Demonstrate and adhere to all TSP and customer's safety policies and practices
  • Follow all 5S procedures inside cleanroom and in office area
  • Escalate any unresolved issues as necessary, working closely across multiple teams; keep leadership within TSP informed of all problems that are causing customer dissatisfaction
  • Maintain a positive customer service attitude and project professionalism in all situations
  • Local area travel (north Dallas/Richardson area) is required for the purpose of on-site hardware and software troubleshooting and repair
  • Technical Support Tasks & Training Include:
    • Install, troubleshoot and replace WYSE thin clients
    • Install, troubleshoot and replace Dell laptops
    • Install, troubleshoot and reinstall multiple versions of Windows OS
    • Install, troubleshoot and replace Ubuntu PC's
    • Install, troubleshoot and repair (or replace) Zebra printers, Epson inkjet printers, Intermec/Honeywell thermal printers, and laser printers

THE IDEAL PERSON FOR FILL THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:
  • Excellent knowledge of laptop and desktop PCs, and printer hardware (including internal components)
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Extensive equipment support experience
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides
  • Flexible to work holidays or other shifts as needed to support the customer

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:
  • Candidate needs to be able to work compressed schedule NIGHT shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday
  • Physical requirements include:
    • Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods of time
    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components
    • The ability to climb a ladder ranging from 4 to 6 feet is required
    • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals and printers
  • Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation - mileage reimbursement provided for business-related travel (north Dallas / Richardson, TX area)
