Summary:

  • The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) will support the facilitation and conduct of departmental clinical research efforts and support the clinical research team by performing a variety of research, database and administrative duties in support of clinical trials to ensure adherence to protocols and quality of information received.

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting/Recording/Processing Information. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
  • Enter data timely that is generated by clinical research subject visits in compliance with contractual requirements, i.e., within 3-5 days after the visit.
  • Checking all study databases for queries to data entries and responding to those queries in a timely manner per study agreements.
  • Effectively communicating with supervisors, co-workers, providers, study monitors and other entities as required for data entry and management i.e., by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
  • Assist the Research Team with administrative tasks such as scheduling subjects for appointments & procedures, preparing for study/audit visits, processing & shipping biological specimens, maintaining charts, binders, and research supplies.
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory and compliance documentation as requested.
  • Other duties as required.

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
    • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Preferred)
    • 2+ years Medical/Clinical Experience
