CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR I

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), OB/GYN - Gyn Oncology, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I. Duties include coordination of the Clinical Research Assistants, tissue technicians, and administratively manage new clinical and lab studies. This position will also assist with regulatory requirements of new and continuing studies.

General Responsibilities

• To collect and record preliminary data for clinical research programs.
• To recruit and perform follow-up with research participants as protocols outline.
• To schedule visits according to research protocols.
• To assist in coordination of lab and fieldwork.
• To maintain familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Annual Salary Range: $43,890 - $71,320

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.

Preferences

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
