Communications Specialist IV Intro
The Communications Specialist IV will play a pivotal role in achieving the Enterprise's business goals and objectives by executing the US Gulf Coast portion of the communications and writing function. This high-profile role requires a passionate and experienced professional capable of building strong relationships with media organizations and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will function as a developer and coordinator of public messaging and content for multiple projects in Texas and Louisiana.

This is a year long contract to start.

Communications Specialist IV Job Details
This role will provide key support through drafting key messages and Q&As, coordinating responses and final communication products, and developing additional communication materials such as blogs, OPEDS, fact sheets, web copy, and other collateral. The Communications Specialist IV will ensure Enbridge's and Project messages are communicated consistently, appropriately, and timely to all key audiences. The individual will participate in various calls and meetings about the project, PACS strategy, and permitting communication needs.

Communications Specialist IV Mandatory Skills
- A degree or diploma in communications, business, public relations, journalism, or related field.
- Experience in and understanding of a large, public company with operations in multiple regions.
- Passionate about and experienced in building strong relationships with media organizations, reporters, and producers through effective media relations.
- Solid understanding of external communication best practices.
- Outstanding writing skills, with experience and comfort writing for external audiences.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Communications Specialist IV Desired Skills
- Familiarity with a corporate environment and skilled in understanding and supporting leadership and project management.
- Ability to work independently to develop and implement communications activities with minimal management oversight.
- Flexibility to respond to quickly shifting priorities and willingness to assist with the development of communications to a variety of audiences when required.
