We are seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our client's HR department on a temporary basis. The role involves conducting position evaluations, ensuring compliance with compensation policies, and providing analytical support for various HR projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate job positions to determine appropriate classification and pay levels.
- Ensure that compensation practices are consistent and equitable across the organization.
- Advise on wage and hour laws, including FLSA compliance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of job descriptions and compensation documentation.
- Prepare and analyze compensation data reports using PeopleSoft and Excel.
- Support special projects related to compensation and HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Relevant experience in compensation analysis or HR.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) and familiarity with PeopleSoft preferred.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal compensation laws.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Hybrid Work: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote (1 office day must be Tuesday)
- Length of Contract: Temporary, ongoing
