Under supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Contract Data Analyst will serve as a liaison and central resource to perform the analytical and technical staff functions in contract services for the Department of Conservation (DOC). The incumbent interacts with representatives from all programs within the DOC, other departments, and agencies. The incumbent is required to exercise initiative and independence in successfully completing assignments, managing daily workflow, and reacting to constantly changing priorities.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Downtown Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must reside in California and be able to satisfactorily perform their essential work functions independently and remotely. The hybrid telework schedule will allow for up to three days of remote work per week depending on department needs.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
