Co-op Software Developer

Database Development:
Utilize tools to design, implement, and optimize database solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Programming:
Participate in the full software life-cycle development using object-oriented methodologies to create robust and scalable software applications.
Contribute to the development of Python-based tools and scripts to enhance system functionalities.
Integrate and test software and systems.
Assist in developing PC-based software tools and applications used for internal administration.
Reporting:
Design and implement reporting solutions using modern reporting tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure timely delivery of accurate reports.
Agile Development:
Participate in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Collaborate with team members in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a relevant computer programming and database major or related program at Cincinnati State.
Proficient in database development and programming with Microsoft SQL Server, VB.NET, Java, C, C#, and Python.
Familiarity with reporting tools, such as Tableau and Power BI (preferred but not required).
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0).
