Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a CSS US Supply Chain Senior Manager based in Irvine, CA. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of regional planners and represent the end-to-end supply chain in the US region. As the CSS US Supply Chain Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in connecting demand, supply, and Deliver for assigned businesses, while aligning supply chain strategies with commercial priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Align end-to-end supply chain strategies with commercial strategic priorities and influence portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate closely with the US Commercial, Finance and Deliver organizations to drive IBP maturity, increase forecast accuracy, and manage events such as supply disruptions, NPI launches and product discontinuations.
• Establish strong relationships with US business leaders to understand
o commercial strategy
o regional product lifecycle management
o regional local forecast drivers and scenario plans
o in order to translate all those inputs to upstream supply chain (including supply chain constraints)
• Ensure close coordination with the Global Supply Planning team and will be the commercial interface for all supply chain related issues and coordinate timely communication and issue mitigation.
• Partner with Deliver to fulfill customer needs and support problem solving.
• Accountable for and drive improvements to key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, finished goods inventory, Slow Moving/Obsolete (SLOB), and customer service (OTIF, BO).
• Empower the team and improve forecast accuracy by understanding market intelligence, customer forecast, promotional activity, seasonality and other internal or external factors that impact demand.
o Generate monthly analysis of demand, providing visibility to trends and anomalies to share with key stakeholders.
o Develop and maintain analytics to support continuous improvement (i.e. trends, forecast ability, Forecast Value Add), developing new and ad hoc reports as required.
o Drive adoption of statistical forecasting as a key input into the consensus forecast
• Collaborate with Regional Commercial, Finance, Deliver and other SC partners to improve overall integrated business planning (IBP) process and lead/ facilitate regional IBP discussion including:
o Regional demand review: Create unbiased customer demand forecasts over 18-24 months planning horizon.
o Regional management business review: align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities, and to communicate risks, opportunities, and scenarios while driving decisions to support business goals.
o Responsible for identifying and initiating planning scenarios to drive/support decision making through the process.
• Lead the team to set and achieve regional finished goods inventory targets ($ and DOS), setting safety stock levels, managing inventory tracking processes and reconciliation (i.e. actual vs. plan), and identifying/implementing inventory reduction opportunities for assigned business(es).
• Cultivate and nurture a diverse team that demonstrates strong work behaviors, while promoting a culture of growth and inclusivity.
• Champion continuous improvement and enable team members to initiate and lead improvement projects.
• In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, engage in and shape MedTech level Planning Capability Enabling (CET) initiatives & discussions, including but not limited to Signifi, IBP CET, and elevate CSS US SC team's capabilities in relevant areas.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Education:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations). A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in a regulated industry in supply chain, operations, finance, and/or marketing.
• Previous experience in demand management, inventory, supply network planning, financial planning, and/or supply planning.
• Understanding of planning system functionality and integration into S&OP/IBP processes.
• High sense of urgency and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
• Proven data analytics and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
• Experience with Manugistics (Blue Yonder) planning, Microsoft Access and/or SQL.
• Six Sigma and/or LEAN Green Belt and APICS certifications.
LOCATION & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Location: Irvine, CA preferred
• Travel: May require up to 15% travel.
