Summary of Role:
The role will provide project management expertise as a member of the Cybersecurity Project Management Office (CPMO) team reporting to the Associate Director of Cyber PMO. The Candidate will be responsible for leading multiple, complex, Cyber Security projects across RTXs portfolio of projects including those related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. The candidate will build effective relationships across multiple disciplines, mentor junior team members. This position can be performed remotely from anywhere within the United States.

Responsibilities:
- Program/Project Management- Help maintain integrated project plans for Cyber Security projects and initiatives including milestone tracking, and budget with
- Work with cross functional project teams that will formulate and execute a strategy for successful implementations and development.
- Coordinate and facilitate program and project team meetings, action items, reports and presentations.
- Requirements Intake - Assist on developing stories / requirements with stakeholders and work with teams to establish LOE and technical details. Ensure delivery of customer requirements to RTX approved budget and schedule
- Contract Development and Administration - Ensure all contract and SOW obligations are delivered with third party vendors and contractors.
- Budget Development and Cost Control -Track committed, pending and anticipated cost events while maintaining project budget.
- Issue, Risk and Change Management- Anticipate and mitigate/control risk events that arise during project life cycle. Identify issues and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as needed, following through to resolution. Adhere to Change Control processes and clarify ambiguities where needed.
- Communication and Reporting - Communicate project objectives, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues and budget information to Senior Leadership, functional areas and project teams accordingly.
- Quality Control and Assurance - Help ensure project excellence is delivered by ensuring conformance to project artifacts, governance and standards
Experience/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity or GRC environments
- 5 or more years experience managing infrastructure and security projects desired
- Familiarity with security regulatory compliance assessments: NIST, ISO 27001, PCI, and GDPR
- Problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to develop and manage project work plans, integrated timelines and budgets with cross functional team
- Ability to handle conflict through proactive action and direct and timely communication; thrive in influence without authority environment
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed
- Initiative and ability to quickly acquire knowledge
- Hands on experience with project management tools and software solutions, i.e. MS Office, Workfront
- Embody integrity, represent and inspire highest ethical standards
Education:
- Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelors Degree +10yrs experience, or and Advanced Degree +7yrs experience.
Preferred Qualification:
- 7 years project management experience required
- PMP Certification preferred, but not required
- Agile certification preferred, but not required
Location:
- Farmington, CT or Remote
