Data Analyst (Oracle PL/SQL)

An employer is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote contract opportunity. This individual will be supporting a leading global manufacturer in the flavor and fragrance industry. Joining a team of 3 other data experts in preparation for a large SAP implementation in 2025. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Analyzing complex data sets to help drive strategic business decisions.
• Create, build, and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Create & deliver ad-hoc reports using SSRS based off a business requirement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
This role requires proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SSRS, MS SQL, and has demonstrated proficiency in writing complex queries, creating ad-hoc reports in a highly configured environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. This is a remote role, 6-month contract with potential extensions up to 1 year.

Required Skills & Experience
- Mid-Senior level experience in Data Analysis or related field
- Experience writing complex queries with Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience building ad-hoc reports with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Experience taking business requirements and writing complex queries in MS SQL

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with SAP, have been a part of an SAP implementation
Previous experience working for a global organization and/or highly configured environment
