Data Analyst

We are currently hiring a fulltime Data Analyst in support of one of the leading heavy building materials companies on the East Coast. The Business Analyst will join a growing team supporting MIS Applications, such as CommandAlkon, TrackIt, Docuware and SharePoint. This individual will interface with various stakeholders to intake business requirements and translate them to technical specifications. They will also provide ongoing support to the business units to ensure best processes remain in line with emerging technologies and system enhancements. Candidates should have industry knowledge within construction, plant manufacturing, or similar and must be comfortable with 25% travel.

Compensation: $90K-$120K/year per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Data/Business Analyst gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications
Prior industry experience in Plant Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Distribution of building materials or Construction
Experience navigating SharePoint for documentation management
Strong knowledge of SAP including sales/distribution, procure to pay navigations, etc. (other big brand ERP systems accepted)
Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following MIS Applications: CommandAlkon Integra, CommandAlkon CommandSeries, CommandAlkon (JWS) Apex, TrackIt (or other fleet management systems), Docuware (or other document management system).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree
Prior experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
Any previous Project Management experience
Experience utilizing Atlassian or Jira for project tracking
