Data Analyst

Location: Richmond, VA -must be open to hybrid onsite work at least 3x/wk
Type: 12+ month contract with potential to extend
We are only able to work on a W2 basis, no Corp to Corp. Must be able to work on our W2 without sponsorship!
Top 3 Skills:

• Data Analysis experience for controls and data quality
• Financial services knowledge regarding regulatory and governance roles
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data and analysis

Required Skills:

• Tech or Data role experience in banking/finance industry
• Experience in performing data analysis tasks
• Experienced working in governance, risk, regulatory/audit, policies, compliance, controls
• Responsible for metrics, dashboards
• Metadata
• Strong reporting experience
• Spreadsheet skills, MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic for MS PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and pattern
• Collaboration and teamwork skills required

Desired Skills:

• Experience with EDM and/or GRM Policy and Standards
• Tableau
• Risk Data Aggregation
