What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with internal business and operational teams to identify data-driven business opportunities.
  • Work with our corporate data teams to make datasets from different sources widely accessible for business use, promoting a data-driven culture.
  • Utilize tools such as Alteryx to process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data, creating valuable dataset views.
  • Develop new work processes to enhance data quality and availability objectives.
  • Generate actionable insights and aid decision-making through the creation of Business Intelligence reports using tools like Spotfire, PowerBI, or Tableau.
  • Partner with our corporate IT/DT network teams to advance data pipeline and automation strategies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science/data analytics, business, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Proficiency with Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate), Tableau, or Alteryx.
  • Experience with PowerQuery Formula M, Power Fx, SQL, Python, or DAX.
  • Critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills to successfully deliver multiple projects to diverse stakeholders.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in a petroleum refinery or chemical manufacturing facility.
  • Technical coding skills and knowledge in data/programming languages like SAS, R, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Experience with PI Vision or Seeq
  • Advanced knowledge of financial or ERP systems and databases.


This role is subject to the Transportation Workers Identification Credentialing (TWIC) rule and requires the successful candidate to obtain a TWIC identification badge, allowing for un-escorted access to the facility within a specific time period.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
