JOB TITLE: Data Engineer

DUTIES: Perform the full development cycle of a Data Warehouse including requirements gathering, design, implementation and maintenance. Duties include: build, implement and maintain batch and real-time ETL pipelines in Google Cloud Platform architecture; identify code quality issues and implement tests to improve future processes; implement data integrity tests to ensure we are ingesting accurate data; write unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and document work; assist in translating business requirements into actionable data tasks; help understand business users' needs and participate in developing end-to-end solutions; implement high-quality test-driven code; and participate in daily team stand ups and other Agile ceremonies. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field and 5 of years of experience in the job offered or computer related occupation.

Position requires 5 years of experience in the following:

• Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL Development;
• Data technologies such as BigQuery, MySQL, Firestore and Postgres;
• Agile and Scrum;
• Cloud technologies such as GCP or AWS;
• BigQuery and Python;
• Informatica and Informatica Cloud (IICS);
• ETL and SQL;
• Linux or Unix; and
• Data Warehouse, Data Pipeline and Data Integration.

RATE OF PAY: $ 158,025.73/year
