What will you be responsible for:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance on HR issues, including organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Partner with senior management to identify and address HR needs and provide solutions to drive business performance.
- Foster a positive work environment and culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
- Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and manage employee relations issues.
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Analyze HR metrics to drive decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Support organizational change initiatives and manage the impact on employees.
- Lead efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Work with VP, HR on mergers and acquisitions by conducting due diligence and identifying risks and opportunities.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems for respective business unit HR team.
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- 10 years of broad HR experience
- Strong employee relations experience
- High sense of urgency
- Knowledge and experience with the Service Contract Act (SCA)
- Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- High level technical skills
