A Snapshot of Your Day

As an experience Sales leader, you will be responsible for leading our North American Electrification, Automation and Digitalization Solutions Sales team. You will set the sales strategy and lead the Sales team towards achieving their quarterly and annual targets that will be set by you based on the overall target assigned to you by the Business Head. You will provide leadership to the sales teams across three verticals - Maritime, Oil, Gas & Chemicals, and Process Industries to drive sustainable integration solutions for industrial customers in their decarbonization journey. You will work in a matrixed sales structure coordinating with country heads and technical sales teammates across North America.




How You'll Make an Impact
  • Leads the Siemens Energy Electrification Automation and Digitalization technical sales teams for North America and drives growth to meet the growth targets set by the regional head of the business.
  • Develops a master growth plan using the Market Evaluation Process (MEP) as baseline, for the next five years with clear year-by-year and market segment-specific growth targets.
  • Develop and drive the Sales strategy ensuring focus of the Sales teams on both Greenfield and Service opportunities across North America and across all three major industrial verticals - Maritime, Oil, Gas & Chemicals, and Process Industries.
  • Drives a structured, quarterly and monthly regional bookings forecast process through selling team's use of SFDC and assessment of sales funnel
  • Maintains the effectiveness of the technical sales team - including coaching, developmental needs, and coordinates disciplinary actions with CFT's in-country management
  • Deploys Sales initiatives through selling team individual objectives, and develops metrics to measure progress
  • Ensure collaboration with HUB sales, head quarters, and other business areas within Siemens-Energy to maximize sales opportunities
  • Governs the use of established sales policies / guidelines and procedures among the selling team
  • Clearly communicates the Company's vision and direction to the client facing team
  • Assures that Sales Teams are properly trained by the portfolio experts to acquire confidence in presenting the range of Siemens Energy Integration solutions to the Clients

What You Bring
  • We look forward to meeting you if you hold a degree in engineering, science or an MBA.
  • You have gained long-term experience (15+ years), including 5+ years of sales management experience and involved with strategic projects; experience in the oil & gas industry, chemical and process industries such as fiber, metals and mining.
  • Integrated solutions delivery experience involving engineering design, Electrification, automation and digitalization.
  • You are passionate and experienced in spotting future trends and markets while translating this into the business
  • Additionally, you are an experienced team lead and like working in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • As you act in an international environment you bring business-fluent English language skill, both verbal and written. Additional language skills are beneficial (Spanish).
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills for efficient stakeholder management and have experience in interacting with executive levels.
  • You are a strongly self-motivated person with a natural focus on adding value for the business. Moreover, you demonstrate your flexibility and creativity for different solutions to achieve the highest benefit for the business unit.
