General Summary:

The Director, Mobility Business Development is responsible for leading the team that will drive product development, go-to market strategy, and sales for HCA's Mobility department. This is a key role in materializing HCA's Mobility vision in an ever-changing landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage Mobility's Business Development Team

• Identifying and recruiting top talent

• Set performance goals and provide regular feedback

• Create tailored career pathways and offer mentorship opportunities

2. Oversee commercial relationship with OEM and affiliates

• Cultivate and maintain strategic commercial relationship with OEM and affiliates

• Foster cooperative efforts to enhance product offerings and market presence

• Ensure continuous communication through weekly, monthly and/or Quarterly Business Review meetings with OEM and affiliates to drive innovation, address challenges, and capitalize on new business opportunities

3. Perform pipeline reviews and inform leadership team

• Evaluate the status and progress of ongoing projects and potential opportunities, ensuring that all initiatives are on track and aligned with company objectives

• Provide detailed reports and analyses from pipeline reviews to inform the leadership team, offering insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and resource allocation

• Ensure transparency and effective communication with the leadership team, highlighting key metrics, identifying potential risks, and proposing actions to optimize business development efforts

4. Deliver portfolio growth in line with budget plan

• Execute strategies that drive portfolio growth, ensuring that all initiatives and investments are aligned with the company's budget plan and financial targets

• Meticulously monitor portfolio performance, adjusting tactics and approaches as needed to meet or exceed growth objectives while staying within budgetary constraints

• Contribute to the company's financial health and long-term success, aligning their efforts with budget plans and corporate goals

5. Liaise with Risk, Credit, Legal, Marketing and support function partners

• Ensure cohesive and compliant strategies that drive business growth and mitigate potential challenges

• Align on key initiatives, integrating their expertise and feedback into business development plans and operations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness

• Ensure a unified approach to managing business activities, fostering a collaborative environment that supports strategic objectives and operational success

6. Follow HCA processes and procedures as it pertains to developing new and enhancing existing business

• Adhere to HCA processes and procedures when developing new business opportunities, ensuring that all activities comply with established standards and regulatory requirements

• Follow HCA guidelines meticulously to enhance existing business operations, integrating best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize performance and outcomes

• Ensure consistent, compliant, and effective business development practices that align with the company's strategic goals and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development / Sales roles interacting with Enterprise grade, sophisticated clients

• Experience generating and closing large business deals

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams

• Financial services, banking, fintech and mobility experience a plus

• Past experience supporting system integrations a plus

• Bachelors required, MS / MBA degree a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Condition:

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
