How will you make an impact in this role?

The Technology Workforce and Talent Excellence (TWTE) team is a center of excellence (COE) that is tightly aligned with, and supports the strategic talent objectives of the Technology organization. As our Technology organization continues to grow so must our workforce strategy. The Director of Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and External Insights will be instrumental in how we transform our workforce strategy to ensure we have the right talent, in the right place, at the right time, to meet the delivery needs of the company.

To ensure we attract, grow and develop our talent intentionally, the Director will lead a team that partner with members of the executive Technology Leadership Team (TLT), and their direct reports to inform them of the key performance indicators (KPIs) critical to achieve their 3-year workforce aspirations. By generating rich insights, trends and sharing best practices, the Director will build strong relationships and influence the outcomes taken a data driven and action-oriented approach to achieve both team and individual team goals.

In addition, the Director will be accountable for developing an new operation, with a methodical approach to generate external insights, trends and recommendations that can be adopted based on industry best practices. By leveraging external services, completing research, and building a close relationship with the Enterprise reporting teams, the Director with evolve the insights and educate the broader team to synthesize an industry perspective. This will ensure leaders in Technology can adapt as appropriate and teams can stop, start, and continue actions responding to, and getting ahead of the industry. The industry insights cover macro and micro trends infused with team level insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Enabling a systematic process of analyzing, forecasting, and planning their workforce.
  • Leveraging and driving best practices utilizing the workforce modelling and dashboard capabilities.
  • Determining the supply and demand to meet delivery needs.
  • Generating insights, trends and actions to meet in year and 3-year goals.
  • Generating a holistic Technology wide talent skill view by location and role type in collaboration with our internal stakeholders (the Colleague Experience Group, Global Talent Acquisition and Global Inclusion & Diversity) to maximize on talent pipelines and execution.
  • Partner closely with Technology Finance and other related Technology transformation programs to ensure consistency in data usage and reporting.
  • Use external bench marking data to identify solutions and drive talent recommendations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Strategic Workforce Planning experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with analytics and the ability to draw conclusions and make inferences from the data.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting or experience working closely with the technology teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop; measurable goals to track success.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills required, experience with senior stakeholder management.
  • Highly organized with experience running large scale programs
  • Experience working with external third parties and building strong relationships and leading teams.


Qualifications

Salary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
