Under administrative supervision of the Executive Vice President and COO as well as the Executive Vice President and CSO, responsible for work directly with Executive Leadership team on cross functional projects including operational improvement initiatives, business development opportunities, strategic initiatives, and new business innovation ideas. Responsible for collaborating across the organization to ensure that hospital-based strategies and goals are aligned with the organizational action plan (OAP) and strategic goals. Partners with Senior level executives and manage project outcomes within operations and strategy. Manages cross-functional projects through completion and support the initiatives with data-driven insights. Helps operationalize strategies by onboarding teams through new partnerships and collaborations. Develops KPIs around strategies driving the OAP. Works alongside operations and strategy to design care experiences.

Develops tactics to determine provider and patient needs within the various service areas. Drives coordination of new partnerships with outside organizations. Acts as a representative with external partners on behalf of TGH and the office of the COO/CSO. Directs data collection and informational needs with potential future external partners. Executes and assesses contracts with outside vendors based upon the needs of the hospital. Engages with consultants on behalf of TGH to further both clinical and non-clinical strategic imperatives. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 8 years of progressive management and supervisory experience.
  • Experience in tracking projects to successful execution, managing and leading staff and collaborating with both physician leaders and team members.
  • Must be highly proficient in using computer applications and a great communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, highly resourceful, strong analytical skills, and solution oriented.
  • Must have experience in preparing and managing budgets for projects that will impact multiple departments and hospital entities.
