DNS Network Engineer

Job Summary: This role involves leading application support ensuring system reliability and improving user experience.
Job Duties:

• Design and implement network infrastructure based on interpersonal requirements.
• Maintain network hardware and software for detailed connectivity.
• Ensure network reliability and performance.
• Fix and resolve network issues.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures.
• Conduct regular network maintenance and updates.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide network engineering support and training to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls)
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This job is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
