Insight Global's client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to sit in Knoxville, or Chattanooga, TN. They will be responsible for helping develop design packages which includes the selection, sizing, and layout of electrical systems, design for MCCs, switchgear layouts, control rooms, electrical room layouts, conduit/cable schedules/layouts, wiring design, one-line diagrams, schematics, low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control design, and DCS/PLC system design. At times they will be responsible for conducting site walkdowns to assess existing equipment and helping identify potential upgrades that need to be made. They will execute power and protection design for heavy industrial clients including pulp/paper, manufacturing plants, government facilities, etc.

Required Skills & Experience
• B.S. in electrical engineering
• 3-10 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Experience designing schematics, one-lines, three-lines, LV/MV design, MCC design, switchgear, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PE or EIT
• Experience designing for industrial, manufacturing, pulp/paper, or government facilities.
