Electrical Engineer - PE

Day-to-Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a PE license. They will be responsible for electrical design for this firm's municipal, healthcare, and commercial clients. They will lead and manage the design team for fire alarm systems, lighting systems, and communications systems. This person will be expected to prepare and sign off on electrical drawings and specifications with a strong design background in AutoCAD and Revit. They will be responsible for signing off on all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs for clients that could sit in TN, GA, AL, and FL. This individual will have 3 electrical engineering peers, and each engineer is responsible for 6-8 projects at one time. Their customers are 50% renovations and 50% new builds.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
- PE License
- 5 years of MEP Design
- Experience designing and stamping lighting systems, alarm systems, communications systems, and other electrical systems
- Experience managing 6-8 projects at a time for municipal, healthcare, and commercial clients.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Consulting firm experience is a plus.
