AccuVein is the global market leader in vein visualization technology. Our NIR vein visualization device projects a vivid map on the skin of the underlying superficial vasculature, often invisible to the naked eye. Our technology supports peripheral IV assessment and access decisions. AccuVein aims to deliver novel technology solutions that improve venous assessment and vascular access outcomes. We seek exceptional talent to join our growing organization and expand our Team’s depth.

As the Electronics/QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality of electronics- and optoelectronics-based medical devices, supporting contract manufacturing sites and AccuVein’s San Jose facility. You will focus on sustaining engineering, including product redesigns, manufacturing process improvements, cost-saving projects, and resolving quality issues. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to all phases of Product Development and providing guidance to ensure project success. Additionally, you will work closely with Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Sales, Marketing, and customers to troubleshoot complaints and maintain operational excellence through adherence to best practices and standard procedures.

To be successful, you should have:
  • 8-10 years in Medical Devices or a similarly regulated field, with a production and sustaining engineering background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • Proficiency in circuit and PCB design using Altium; familiarity with FPGA programming and PCB inspection equipment.
  • Expertise in medical device quality management and Quality Management Systems, with advanced knowledge of PLM tools like Arena and Agile.
  • Skilled in Lean Six Sigma, Practical Statistics, Minitab, and managing external suppliers; experience in Qualification and Validation processes.

Your responsibilities as the Electronics & QA Engineer will include:
  • Receiving and Inspection: Inspect incoming production materials, non-production parts, and RMA units for quality and accuracy.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship all products, including Lithium batteries, coordinating with shipping companies to ensure prompt delivery.
  • Warehouse Organization: Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean and uncluttered, assisting with palletizing and large shipments as needed.
  • Inventory Coordination: Work with external warehouses to manage inventory and deliveries, ensuring manufacturing has necessary packaging and pick/pull support.
  • Shipping and Supplies: Process orders for shipping as a backup, purchase and manage inventory of shipping supplies, and receive incoming shipping containers.

What we offer you:

We value our employees’ time and efforts. Our commitment to your success is enhanced by our competitive hourly wage compensation of $110K-$115K, commensurate with experience, and an extensive benefits package including:
