Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Employer Services Manager.This is a full-time exempt State position with full benefits.

Job Summary

The Employer Services Manager role in the Career Services office manages and coordinates all aspects of the Salisbury University employer services and job search program. This position develops programs and services for employer and student interaction and connectivity. It assists in developing career services policies to prepare students for meaningful careers and successful entry into the workforce and/or graduate or professional school.

Authority and Accountability

This position reports to the Director of Career Services.

This position has budgetary responsibility and authority for the job fair budget.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree required.
  • Two years of progressively responsible program development and implementation experience.
  • Ability to cultivate external relationships with businesses, government, service and educational entities.
  • Ability to work one on one and in large group settings with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills (Microsoft Office experience).
  • Understand various career industries and the related workforce needs to assist in preparing students for employment.
  • Knowledge of the labor market in the business, non-profit and governmental communities.
  • Ability to research, analyze and interpret labor market data and communicate these on a regular basis.
  • Attentive to details and deadlines, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to relate to a diverse body of students, faculty, staff and employers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in conflict resolution, counseling, college student affairs or a related field.
  • Experience in higher education
