One of Insight Global's Power Transmission and Technology client's is looking for an Energy Management Systems (EMS) Support Engineer. This person will be responsible for provide technical on and offsite support of the client's customer's EMS which includes system modeling, data analysis, and application customization This individual will be spending 10-20% of their time being trained on-site at the client's Fairfield Location and the rest of the time supporting operations, building displays, modeling equipment modifications, tuning and deploying applications, and telemetry work.

Key Duties:

* Project Management: You'll be guiding teams and partners through different stages of projects, making sure everything is delivered on time and successfully.

* Customer Interaction: You'll be the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners for your projects.

* Risk Management: You'll be responsible for identifying potential risks and coming up with plans to handle them.

* Continuous Improvement: You'll be expected to always look for ways to improve products, processes, and people.

This individual would help support one of the largest construction companies in the world build out their power and transmission segment and help convert the nation's grid to support renewable energies in the hope to make a power grid that can support an EV transition and carbon neutral environment. Eventually, they will also travel nationally and internationally, supporting projects on the bleeding edge of civilization development.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses

* Master's degree in any above field (No doctorates)

* Programming experience within C++, SQL, PowerShell, Perl

* Knowledge of NERC CIPS standards

* Experience in Power Systems Modeling or Common Information Model (CIM)
