Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for an "Engagement Manager" to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. As an Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving reporting and analytics initiatives for LS commercial, Market Access, and Patient data.

Role: Engagement Manager - Pharma Analytics

Experience: 8+ years of experience

Job Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary business contact for client team for multiple workstreams. Fully embedded within client team and ensure smooth information flow to offshore team.
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Tableau to deliver actionable insights.
  • Provide expert guidance on database management and SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • In depth knowledge of client business and processes, work as a conduit for knowledge transfer within client.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to communicate analytical findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Continuously bring ideas and conceptualize with customer team on recent analytical updates in Life Science industry in similar domain.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key partners to understand their analytical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Supervise and evaluate the efficiency of analytics initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies to protect critical information.
  • Identify gaps in current processes and recommend best practices based on industry standards
  • Deep understanding of brand reporting and analytics, with a track record of delivering impactful insights, superb communication, and presentation skills to successfully convey analytical findings to partners and show strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for collaborating closely with the offshore team and onsite project manager and delivering as per SLA terms, as well as understand requirement and deliver the same to the team.
  • Work (hands-on) on high priority delivery with short turn around demand during onshore business hours.
  • Lead the development and implementation of reporting and analytics strategies to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Drive the analysis of brand performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality analytical reports to stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on standard methodologies in data analysis and reporting.

Must Have Skills
  • Minimum 8 years of experience, particularly in Pharma Domain.
  • Technical Skills: MS SQL, Tableau, Databricks.
  • Knowledge of pharma domain, Commercial Pharmaceutical data sets (IQVIA LAAD, IQVIA PlanTrak, MMIT, DDD etc.).
  • Knowledge on Value & access / managed markets experience is required.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $66,000 and $132,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
