A client of Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Technical Assistant to join their digital engineering team. This person will be responsible for assisting this team with a temporary backlog they have from a recent system upgrade that did not go as smoothly as they planned. This person will be responsible for finding specific files in their engineering system, downloading them, and sending those files to clients via FTP. They will also be receiving files from clients sent via FTP and uploading them into this clients system. In addition, they will be running reports for specific clients and specific projects and then distributing those reports to the project managers and clients. They will also be creating projects in their system based on emails sent in by clients and approved by the engineering managers. Lastly, they will be updating attributes in their engineering system from email requests and creating invoices based off the work completed in the engineering system. This position will be remote but this person needs to be willing to come onsite to their office in Spring, TX for 1-2 weeks of training. The hours they are working will be flexible but they mainly need to be available to work between 4-8 when their internal system is not being heavily used. Idea work days would be between 12-8pm or 1-9pm. The pay range for this role will be between $23-30/hr.
