Role: Entry Level Staff Accountant

Location: Downtown Washington, D.C.

Pay: $25 - $30 / hour

Salary: $60000 - $65000 upon conversion

Office Schedule: fully in office, Fridays at home when converted

This is an exciting opportunity with one of our top non-profit clients looking for an Entry Level Staff Accountant. They are looking for someone who has prior accounting experience and can start immediately. This is a great opportunity with potential to convert after 6-9 months!

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance REQUIRED
• Non-profit industry preferred
• Strong communication skills
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Professional, personable, and has strong attention to detail

Responsibilities
• Must have knowledge of basic accounting principles
• AP and AR
• Month-end close
• GL and journal entries
• Full-cycle AP experience required
