Position Summary

Responsible for planning and execution of quality performance for the construction (EPC) projects. Provide oversight of Site Quality Managers to ensure compliance with all internal and external quality requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide quality input to EPC proposals, review contracts, and prepare EPC project quality plans.
  • Manage and improve the quality execution process, procedures, inspection & surveillance Plans for EPC projects.
  • Engage with customers to ensure quality expectations are met per contractual obligations.
  • Provide quality control oversight to all EPC projects and validate the work of site quality inspectors.
  • Submit non-conformance reports in collaboration with EPC project managers.
  • Lead or participate in quality investigations in collaboration with EPC project managers.
  • Coordinate and prepare quality control documentation and quality project reports.
  • Conduct end-of-project quality reviews to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote quality achievement and mentor and support site quality staff.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation (ISO/ASME/AWS).
  • Analyze performance data against defined metrics.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ Years' Experience in a Quality Inspector Role preferred.
  • Experience developing Procedure Qualification Records (PQR, reading and executing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) preferred.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and civil inspections.
  • Ability to competently read and analyze engineering drawings, schematics, Piping, and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Flow and Instrumentation Diagrams (F&ID).
  • Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Desired Qualifications
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified CQE.
  • Technical competence (understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.).

Additional Functions
  • Proficient use of the MS Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proficient use of ProWrite software preferred.
  • Knowledge of communication principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public and co-workers.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
  • Ability to perform research, compile and analyze data, and write clear, concise, and accurate reports on complex subjects.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple job assignments.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
  • Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc. The position requires mobility.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Usual office working conditions: noise level in the work area is typical of most office environments with telephones, personal interruptions, and background noises.
