Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience with sales groups and events, preferably in hospitality.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and planning skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Qualifications: Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks with a proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Shift Pattern: Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.80 per hour.

What will I be doing?

As the Event Services Operations Manager, you will serve as the key contact between the customer and the hotel's commercial and operational teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that events run smoothly from start to finish, acting as the customer's primary contact once they arrive at the hotel. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the key hotel contact for floor operations during events.
  • Ensuring accurate event set-ups based on checklists and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Reviewing meeting agendas and BEOs for each group, and communicating labor and inventory issues to the Event Experience and Event Operation Managers.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of meeting areas and back-of-house spaces.
  • Assisting customers with the setup of their events and providing on-site support as needed.
  • Supervising food and beverage service to ensure consistency throughout event operations.
  • Planning, prepping, and executing events on-site.
  • Communicating corrective actions to the Director of Event Operations or Assistant Director of Event Operations.
  • Supporting the scheduling and staffing of Banquet Wait Staff.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings as required by management.
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management. #LI-AT3
