The Fall 2024 - Real Estate & Lease Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects whiile supporting our Director of Real Estate in our New York Headquarters.

As a Fall 2024 Intern:
  • You must be able to work on location, 20-24 hours per week
  • Intern for the full Fall term - September 4 - December 20, 2024
  • The minimum & maximum rate of pay will be fixed at $16 per hour
  • You must be a rising Junior or Senior at a local college/ university pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • This position is not eligible for relocation


What you can expect:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
  • Prepare and maintain various reports and schedules used by executives, finance, accounting, legal and operations.
  • Real Estate Financial Planning - Assist with maintaining US and CA rent schedule up to date
  • General Lease Accounting - support month-end close as well as quarterly and year-end close by preparing additional reports and analysis
  • Maintain critical dates including lease start, expiration, sales kick-out dates, options and update corresponding rental payments
  • Assist in the preparation of Board Approval documents for new projects
  • Support lease administration by organizing and archiving all real estate and lease accounting documents while working in conjunction with HUGO BOSS AG's Real Estate platform, Sequentra
  • Run demographics, prepare area maps, and other analytical tools


Your profile:

  • Studying and/or interest in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting or General Business Management
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong numerical and organizational skills
  • Quality driven with a high attention to detail
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, excellent in Excel

The minimum & maximum pay for this position is fixed at $16.00 per hour.
