Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Federal Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to large projects for federal clients
  • Independently develop project scopes of work, fee proposals, schedules and budgets
  • Establish and foster client relations and be involved with marketing, proposal development, and new client development
  • Lead meetings with various governing agencies for charrettes, design reviews and scoping
  • Monitor multi-discipline design teams for progress, project cost, budget adherence and schedule.
  • Communicate project status with clients and work with clients to resolve project conflicts, review comments, performance, budget and scope issues
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 7 years related or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years project management experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or Registered Architect (RA) license
  • Master's degree in related field
  • PMP Certification
