We work as trusted advisors to CFO's, COO's, CIO's and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a service solutions, improving finance, shared service and real estate operations, and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including:

Engagement Management:

Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.

Relationship Management of executive clients and sponsors:

Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

Practice Development & Eminence:

Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop thoughtware and point- of-view documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals.

People Development:

Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

CFO Enterprise Value

Our CFO Enterprise Value team works as trusted advisors to the finance and real estate C-suite addressing finance strategy, location strategy, organization performance, large capital programs, enterprise value creation, and investor relations strategy. In addition, we offer Global Business Services (GBS), finance service delivery model and digital delivery transformation services as well as advising clients oncomplex global site selection and location and footprint design solutions.

Qualifications

Required:
  • 12 plus years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, with a large or boutique consulting firm, or serving as an internal consultant within industry.
  • Financial analysis and business case development experience
  • Financial modeling and/or business case development
  • Demonstrated project experience within Shared Services, Outsourcing and/or Offshoring industry, or back-office functional optimization
  • Accountable for the management and delivery of the overall Account to Report workstream within GBS, including analysis and modeling.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the areas that fall under Account to Report with GBS: GL Accounting, I/C Accounting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting and Consolidations and presents commentary and business insight to help improve performance within the workstreams.
  • Experience with service delivery model strategy, design, implementation & optimization of for multi-functional or single-function entities.
  • Strong storyboarding skills
  • Practical experience with the full lifecycle of functional optimization, BPO and/or shared services programs
  • Robotics Process Automation (RPA) experience
  • Ability to analyze and apply outsourcing trends
  • Understanding of vendor landscape
  • Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements
  • Understanding of customer experience and interactions with shared services
  • Experience managing teams of resources through strategy, design, and implementation of Shared Services/Outsourcing organizations
  • Understanding of ServiceNow
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
  • Strong executive presence including the ability to advise and influence at board level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with senior-level clients, F&P alliance partners, developers, and architects
  • Track record of eminence building activities (public speaking, publishing of articles etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex projects for multinational organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills; professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) with experience presenting to clients and important decision makers

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $184,000 to $307,500.
