Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team, focusing on grant management and financial analysis for
future grants. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, with a specific emphasis on
grant funding and budgeting. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to
collaborate effectively with the grants team to ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with the grants team to analyze funding opportunities and assess financial viability of potential
grants.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast grant revenue and expenses.
• Prepare detailed budgets and financial projections for grant proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational
goals and objectives.
• Conduct variance analysis to track actual grant performance against budgeted projections.
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications, providing financial data and analysis as needed.
• Monitor grant compliance and reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission of financial reports to
grantors.
• Provide support and guidance to program managers in budget planning and financial management of grant
funded projects.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to grant management and financial analysis.
• Provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Maintain accurate historical records.
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
• Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of budgeting principles and experience in developing and managing budgets.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make strategic
recommendations.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information to
diverse audiences.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on grant work including familiarity with grant
accounting principles and regulations preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting techniques
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Telecom industry experience
• Knowledge of fund accounting

Physical Demands:
• Stationary position for 8-10 hours a day
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a
computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
• To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position. Daily
movements include sitting, standing, operating computers and other office equipment and moving about the
office. The employee must be able to communicate via email and verbally via telephone.
