Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC seeks a First Vice President in Miami, FL

Profile clients and prospects to ensure asset allocation strategies that are consistent with their risk tolerance and investment objectives. Recommend securities or investment strategies that are suitable for their particular financial status, objectives, risk tolerance, tax exposure, and other investment needs. Advise clients on the risks and advantages/disadvantages of various investment opportunities in light of the clients' individual financial circumstances. Lead client meetings, conduct calls to determine changes in the client's circumstances, educate the client on their status and propose suitable financial strategies. Promote firm products and services, and engage in business development activities. Leverage firm platform and develop appropriate financial plans for clients and prospects. Make recommendations for changes in client portfolios. Create annual business plans with goals, objectives, strategies, tactics with goals for NNM, AUM, Revenue, CES results.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Vice President, Financial Advisor, or a closely related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: working with an asset base of over $200MM in assets under management with UHNW clients from Southern Cone Latin America; local regulations in Argentina and Uruguay; dealing with wealth planning strategies tailored for clients in Argentina and Uruguay; tailoring tax efficient solutions for Argentinian and Uruguayan clients in sync with local tax regulations; accessing prospect's network and building high net-worth client relationships with focused prospecting on households with no less than $5mm in investable assets; recommending tactical changes to investors' holdings after evaluating the economic, financial and market factors and the potential impact on the investors' portfolios; tailoring Wealth Planning vehicles and Family and Corporate Governance tailor to Argentina and Uruguay; analyzing economic trends and activities globally and in local country markets, and advising the effects on the investors' portfolios.
