An employer is looking to add a Systems Engineer to their team in St. Louis. This individual will be responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. They will be evaluating customer needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture as well as performing analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. This also includes developing, maintaining and identifying improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Another responsibility includes resolving cross-functional technical issues. This position is 5 days on-site and an active secret clearance is preferred.

5+ years of System Engineering Experience
Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
Great communication and problem solving skills
Active Secret Clearance

Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules
Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools & processes
Technical Experience in Flight & Ground Loads, Noise & Vibration, Flutter, Strength, Fatigue, Propulsion, Aerodynamics/Performance, Flying Qualities, Stability & Control, and/or Structural Dynamics
Experience in Financial analysis, Integrated scheduling, Business development, Program management, and/or Supplier management
Military certification experience especially software
