Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 4 for a contract opportunity Berkeley, MO.

*This position is 100% onsite.

SUMMARY:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

o Experience managing, developing, motivating and communicating responsibilities to team members
o Ability to maintain situational awareness of the overall program and critical path sequencing
o Ability to proactively communicate with various leadership team/s, peers and customers

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Systems engineering experience

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness
o Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules
o Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
o Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools & processes
o Technical Experience in Flight & Ground Loads, Noise & Vibration, Flutter, Strength, Fatigue, Propulsion, Aerodynamics/Performance, Flying Qualities, Stability & Control, and/or Structural Dynamics
o Experience in Financial analysis, Integrated scheduling, Business development, Program management, and/or Supplier management
omilitary certification experience especially software

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (e.g. Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.) In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
