Our client is seeking a Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX. The Staff Engineer will support the project manager or other staff as directed to assure client satisfaction through completing field assignments, preparation of detailed calculations, and performing engineering analyses. The main goal of the position is to effectively support the operating units in pursuing profitability, growth, and stakeholder satisfaction. Daily, they will be responsible for performing and coordinating field investigations, field and lab assignments, engineering analysis, and assisting project managers in business development. The Staff Engineer may require up to 40% travel around the Houston area in their first year but then it will decrease to 10% the following years.

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of geotechnical engineering analysis experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- EIT License
- Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering
