Head of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering

EMD Electronics is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Manufacturing Operations and Engineering to oversee our semiconductor delivery systems equipment production. This newly created role is critical in managing multiple manufacturing sites across the globe, ensuring efficient operations, advanced production engineering, and high product quality. As well as oveseeing production, you will ensure operations align with business objectives and market demands. You will have ultimate responsibility for developing and implementing strategies that increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve manufacturing processes.You will lead the S&OP process to ensure forecasting, production planning and inventory management are fully integrated and aligned with sales strategy. You will manage: the field services organisation; responsible for the maintenance and operational support or semiconductor equipment at customer facilities; production engineering, enhancing existing engineering processes and introducing new technologies aimed at improving productivity and sustainability, all while ensuring and maintaining the highest quality standards for all products and processes and promoting and enhancing a safety culture. Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: Degree in a STEM subject or in businessMinimum of 10 years' experience in a senior operations management role within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.Proven experience in managing multi-site international operations. Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of production engineering, quality assurance, global supply chain management, and field service operations.Experience leading diverse teams.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Extensive experience of leading larger organizations as well as in the matrixPrevious responsibility for a global scope and/or international experience required
