Duties: Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I within the Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Headquarters (HQ) Office, the incumbent performs complex analytical work on a wide variety of consultative and analytical administrative duties with an emphasis in human resources management. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgment in making decisions and initiating action in accordance with departmental policies and guidelines. The incumbent will promote and be accountable for customer satisfaction and quality service and will initiate or recommend changes that promote innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

Department of Water Resources (DWR) was established in 1956 by the California State Legislature. We manage California's water resources, systems, and infrastructure, including the State Water Project, in a responsible sustainable way.

This position is office-centered which means the incumbent works fifty percent or less of their time monthly from an alternate work location, which can change at any time.
