Insight Global is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for reviewing and correcting current HVAC systems on large ships as well as designing new HVAC systems from scratch. These responsibilities include reviewing and performing pressure and temperature calculations, responding to technical questions from the government, and understanding and applying regulatory requirements to design work. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in dynamic environments with cross functional teams to support current shipbuilding programs as well as future ones.

Required Skills & Experience
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 5-15 years of professional experience designing HVAC systems in the maritime, commercial construction, or oil/gas industries
- CADD proficiency at advanced level

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Ship Constructor, Chief Mate, or Chief Engineer experience
- Attendance of maritime school (Cal Maritime Academy, Maine Maritime Academy, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Suny Maritime College, King Point Maritime Academy)
- AVEVA or Tribon experience
