Indotronix is seeking a Hybrid- Site Reliability Engineer in Phoenix, AZ location

Position Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Position Location: Hybrid in Phoenix - (2 days in office, 3 remote)

Ability to work remotely: Yes, 3 days a week

Acceptable time zone(s): Must be willing to work EST for a few months then it may change to MST

Working Hours: 7:00 am-3:30 pm EST

Duration: Contract to hire

Roles and Responsibilities:

First level response - address technology issues, triaging, remediating, and escalating to engineering if needed- problem resolution, automated process improvement, incident resolutions - handling tickets

Must-Have Technical Skills:

- Storage technologies - NAS (SVM, HA Failover, Flexvolumes, ONTAP OS, CIFS/NFS protocols, StorageGrid, SnapMirror/Vault/Restore), SANs.

- Backup solutions & technologies - DPA (Data Protection Advisor), Pure Storage, Helios, Avamar, Cohesity, Datadomain,

- SysAdmin experience - Linux (RHEL background) Windows Experience

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

- Scripting (PowerShell/Python/Ansible)

- SRE Skill Set - Automation, Monitoring (AIQUM Monitoring, Event Management), Incident Response, capacity planning

- Server Virtualization (VMware)

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical & communication skills, willingness to learn, adapt to change, process improvement, be able to proactively identify issues in the environment

Education Required:

Preferred bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience - any storage space certifications nice to have ex: Hitachi, NetApp, Pure

Years of experience:

Level 2 3-5 years
