The Office of Multifamily Housing is looking for a dedicated Director of Multifamily Housing who will:
TRAVEL: Travel is not required. However, there may be opportunities to attend conferences and events (e.g., grand openings).
HYBRID Work: Employees in this position are eligible for OHFA's Teleworking Policy. Currently, employees participating in teleworking are required to come into OHFA's offices two (2) days a week & may work from an alternative work location three (3) days per week. OHFA's offices are located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.

Qualifications
The Office of Multifamily Housing Planning, Preservation & Development Division is seeking a Director of Multifamily Housing with the following work experience, education & training:
Necessary Job Skills: Housing, Planning & Development, Policy Direction, Real Estate, Accounting & Finance, Building Consensus, Establishing Relationships, Goal Setting, Leading Others, Strategic Thinking
- Supervise Multifamily Section Chiefs (i.e., 4% low-income housing tax credit program,9% low-income housing tax credit program, 811 subsidy program, Asset Management, Construction Monitoring, Multifamily Lending) to direct & oversee multifamily housing development programs
- Manage staff & direct workflow of the Multifamily Housing Offices
- Design & develop new housing programs for the development & preservation of affordable housing including new multifamily state tax credit
- Work with supervisor of Project Administration team to monitor multifamily projects that are under construction to process loan draws during construction
- Read, analyze & evaluate the financial performance of multifamily projects (e.g., apartment properties) that benefit from low-income housing tax credits &/or loans
- Establish & maintain regular contacts and relationships with the affordable housing development community (e.g., tax credit syndicators/investors, lenders, government officials)

Qualifications
The Office of Multifamily Housing Planning, Preservation & Development Division is seeking a Director of Multifamily Housing with the following work experience, education & training:
- Graduate Core course work or 4 years' experience in Public Policy or Finance; AND 4 years' experience in administration (e.g., compliance, asset management) and financing of affordable housing programs (e.g., Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), underwriting of multifamily housing loans); AND 1 year experience in public speaking which included presenting before organization leadership or a board.
- OR 4 years' experience in a position equivalent to Director of Multifamily Housing which included Low Income Housing Tax Credit properties; AND 1 year experience in public speaking which included presenting before organization leadership or a board.
- OR 4 years' experience managing underwriters or asset managers at a syndicator or investor for multifamily properties; AND 1 year experience in public speaking which included presenting before organization leadership or a board.
- OR 4 years' experience managing project managers at a LIHTC developer; AND 1 year experience in public speaking which included presenting before organization leadership or a board.
