Job Summary
The Instructional Designer II (ID-II) facilitates the planning, design, development, and delivery of high-quality, technology-enabled discovery and learning experiences. The instructional designer will work closely with educational leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) in delivering all modalities including technology enhanced face-to-face courses, web-based, virtual and/or blended courses and programs in accordance with instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and current research. The ID-II will have responsibility for instructional design, project management, and collaboration with SMEs to develop instructional materials to support transformation in curriculum design, innovative use of technology, and enhanced learning outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees:
Bachelors in Education; Business Administration, or related degree
Masters in Instructional Technology, Education, or relevant experience in lieu of masters preferred
Licenses & Certification:
Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) preferred
Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) preferred
Work Experience:
Four (4) years of experience with Curriculum mapping, eLearning development
Six (6) years of experience in Instructional design
Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/ Correspondence, Writing/ Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, P.C.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Analytical, Design, Research, Other; Captivate, Storyline, or Lectora authoring tools
Other Requirements: Have experience in learning management systems and online course development software. Possess strong client/customer focus and good interpersonal skills. Storyline or Captivate eLearning development software. Good strategizing skills (i.e., ability to write scripts and storyboards based on client needs and feedback). Experience with Adobe or other graphic editing and production software (i.e., Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, etc.)
