Description of Duties:
The Integration and Controls Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Install, maintain, controls systems, or related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Lead a team of technician in verifying MDIOC power systems.
• Integrate closely with MDIOC customers and Mission Partners.
• Perform repairs and inspections on the MDIOC Controls Systems to include Siemens Insight or Desigo and Eaton Power monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuits, following wiring and system specifications.
• Provide MDIOC controls systems trainings.
• Creates situational reports for critical equipment and develops procedures to manage system anomalies.
• Coordination with engineers, general contractors, and end users to determine requirements and implement code compliant solutions.
• Meeting and escorting contractors within the Restricted Area of the base and the facility.
• Assists organizational leadership with other tasks as identified.

Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience.
• Must have 7 years of experience between Systems Engineering or Mission Assurance and electrical or controls experience.
• Must have 1 year of experience in management or leadership roles.
• System Engineering or Mission Assurance Experience.
• Experience with Siemens Insight.
• Experience with Installing and maintaining Eaton or Veris Power Monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of blue prints and panel schedules.
• Experience tracing electrical Circuits.
• HVAC Maintenance or Controls Maintenance technician experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of BAS system components with 4 years of Electrical experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of BAS system components with 2 years of technician experience.
• Able to work independently and also in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as: Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must have, or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Requirements:
• Experience coordinating with MDIOC Mission partners
• Experience with Maximo as a CMMS
• Experience working with Government customers
• MDIOC System Engineering or Mission Assurance Experience
• NFPA 70E Training
• OSHA 10 certification
This position is expected to pay $104,000 - $129,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
