Description of Duties:

The Multi-Disciplinary Engineer Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Be an effective lead with a proven understanding of customer requirements and knowledge to apply the team's skills and resources to meet the programs requirements.
• Provide leadership over a team of engineers by providing tasking, prioritizing work as required and executing performance management actions.
• Ensure proper team training and mentorship to ensure successful execution of tasking.
• Coordinate support with other internal program elements to give and receive additional support as needed.
• Address complex challenges and ensure best integration across the program as possible.
• Perform Tier III support and Tier IIII support as needed to meet customer and program requirements.
• Ensure proper execution of Imaging and maintenance of enterprise devices.
• Maintain the image of all program devices.
• Manage and monitor virtual disk storage, user shares, and user quotas.
• Execute notifications as required for thresholds met within user monitoring.
• Manage virtual infrastructure within VMware environment.
• Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions.
• Support multi-region teams, customers and infrastructure requirements.
• Manage execution of any escalation of end-user break/fix actions to include resolution of issue and incident ticket management.
• Oversee maintenance execution actions associated with enterprise equipment to include firmware upgrades, configuration changes and technical refresh requirements as needed.
• Execute and oversee large-scale hardware implementations.
• Ensure daily system maintenance activities, backup and restoral actions occur to ensure optimal and continuous system operations.
• Ensure cyber security mitigations are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements.
• Coordinate and execute cross team training to assist in Multi-Disciplinary Engineer tasks as the mission requires.
• Develop and maintain procedures, processes and baseline configuration documentation,
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with various members of the team and stakeholders.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 14 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 12 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience; Master's degree and 8 years of general experience.
• Must have 8 years of directly related experience.
• Must have 3 years of experience in management or leadership roles.
• Must have experience performing system administration on Engineering Web Services (EWS).
• Must have experience managing Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects.
• Must have experience working with Windows server 2022.
• Must have experience with Windows 10.
• Must have experience working with virtual environments using VMware.
• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (CCNA-Security CySA+ (formerly CSA+), GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP).
• Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance.

Desired Requirements:
• Be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI
• Have experience conducting log analysis to assess root cause analysis
• Have comprehensive knowledge of Virtualization infrastructure
• Have experience with RHEL 8 and 9
• Have experience with NetApp OnTap 9
• Have experience with two-factor authentication to include RSA and PKI

This position is expected to pay $146,300 - $171.300 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
