Our client is looking for an Inventory Control Manager in northwest Houston, TX. This role is a fully onsite role (5 days a week) for a great company! We are looking for someone that is excited about an opportunity to rebuild a team, enhance processes and really make an impact on the business! This person is going to be overseeing a team of inventory specialists to provide support and reconciliation when needed. In this role, we expect this person to research root cause of inventory discrepancies by extracting data and using supplier inventory data, as well as, evaluates data and metrics to improve inventory control and operational procedures. We are looking for someone who is comfortable
challenging the status quo by developing and recommending modification to existing processes and methodologies with a constant focus on continuous improvement. This person will be working directly with client and operations to establish partnership and build inventory accuracy. Previous experience as an Inventory Manager and intermediate experience with excel (VLOOKUP and VPA) is required. We also expect that this person has owned the inventory management process previously.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years as an Inventory Manager/ Supervisor
Experience with inventory management software and forecasting
Experiencing reconciling issues in a timely manner and identifying the root cause to prevent issues from happening again
Intermediate level experience with Excel (VLOOKUP and VPA)
Experience implementing new processes into an existing team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Product and inventory management certification a plus
Experience impacting change into a company culture
